Participant Liability Waiver, Assumption of Risk, & Media Release

Event Host: The Hobby Collective LLC (“Host”)

Participant Eligibility: Age 18+ Only (for safety reasons)

Please read this document carefully. By registering for and attending this event, you agree to the terms below.

1. Age & Eligibility Requirement

I confirm that I am 18 years of age or older. I understand that these events are strictly for adults aged 18 and older due to the presence of sharp objects, chemical adhesives, and other crafting tools.

2. Bring Your Own Craft (BYOC) & Personal Equipment Disclaimer

I understand that this is a "bring your own craft" event. I am solely responsible for the safe handling, operation, and maintenance of any crafting supplies, tools, electrical equipment, sharp objects, or chemical products that I choose to bring to the event. The Host assumes no liability for injuries, property damage, or losses resulting from items brought by myself or other attendees.

3. Goodie Bag Materials, Tools, & Allergen Notice

I acknowledge that as a participant, I may receive a craft bag containing various crafting materials, food products, and tools provided by The Hobby Collective LLC.

• Crafting Tools & Chemical Hazards: Items may include, but are not limited to, super glue, varnish/sealers, sewing needles, darning needles, floral wire, scissors, and small parts. I agree to use all materials responsibly and at my own risk.
• Suffocation & Choking Hazard: Goodie bags are packaged in plastic bags and contain small components. They pose a suffocation and choking risk and must be kept strictly away from infants, children, and pets.
• Food & Allergy Disclaimer: Goodie bags contain consumable items (such as Steviatcha instant matcha and strawberry bon bon candies). I am solely responsible for inspecting ingredients and choosing whether to consume these items based on my own dietary restrictions, sensitivities, or allergies. The Host is not liable for allergic reactions.

4. Public Venue & Third-Party Disclaimer

I understand that events take place at third-party local small businesses open to the general public. The Host does not own or control the premises and is not responsible for the physical condition of the venue, third-party actions, or loss/theft of personal property.

5. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

I knowingly and freely assume all risks—both known and unknown—associated with participating in this crafting event, including but not limited to cuts, punctures, burns, allergic reactions, chemical exposure, or property damage.

I hereby release, waive, and discharge The Hobby Collective LLC, its founder (Kensye), host venues, and event volunteers from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising out of my participation in the event.

6. Photo & Media Release

I understand that photos and videos will be taken during the event for marketing, promotion, and social media purposes. By attending, I grant The Hobby Collective LLC permission to use my image, likeness, and video footage in any media publication without financial compensation.

By registering for this event, I certify that I have read this document, fully understand its terms, understand that I am giving up substantial rights by signing/agreeing to it, and agree to it freely and voluntarily.
